The goal
What we found
You have 119 Google reviews at a perfect 5.0, and none of it is on your own website
What it costs: A 5.0 across 119 reviews is rare, most businesses that get to 119 pick up a three star somewhere. It's the strongest thing you own and it's invisible on the one asset you actually control.
The fix: Put "5.0 from 119 Google reviews" above the fold on every page, with a live link to your profile.
Your site has six pages, and not one names the suburb you're based in
What it costs: A bare service page ranks for nothing. Your own suburb, with your 119 reviews on it, would be the strongest local page you could own, and right now nothing has been built.
The fix: Build a Hammond Park page first, then Cockburn, which sits at zero difficulty and an $8 click cost with nobody defending it.
Your homepage's main heading technically reads just "Contractors"
What it costs: The single most important heading on your site is a generic noun instead of your business name, which lines up with not ranking for your own name at all.
The fix: Fix the markup so the H1 reads "McGuire's Electrical Contractors". Ten minutes.
There's no way to contact you except through someone else's booking widget
What it costs: The widget is more than most competitors offer, but it's the only path. If it's ever slow to load or blocked by an ad blocker, your entire conversion path goes with it.
The fix: Add a simple first-party contact form as a backup to the widget.
The maths
One fix, done for you
Hey, thanks for taking a look at the audit.
I only spent about half an hour on your digital presence and found these four things. They're not the biggest issues out there, but they all add up to how you rank and how you show up online.
If you want to go deeper, I'd love to take a proper look at your paid ads, specifically Google and Meta, and hear a bit about your business and where you want to take it, whether there's a revenue number you're chasing. We specialise in Perth service businesses, tradies and schools included.
If any of this is worth a conversation, send me a message below and I'll give you a call.
Thanks,
Chris
